Folios 46-49. Letter from George Spencer, Clerk to the Guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, forwarding Form 16, a Statistical Statement of the [classes] of Paupers, Form 17, a Statement of Accounts for the half year ending 25 March 1851, and Form 18, 'Abstract of the Separate Accounts of the Several Parishes in the Union' for the year ending at the same time pursuant of articles 23 and 28 of the general order of accounts. Audit report form from Thomas Nicklethwaite, District Auditor to the Poor Law Board, regarding the half year audit ending 13 August Reporting on the accounts of the officers of Keighley Union giving details of any particulars or sums owing. Joseph Halton, Assistant Overseer of Steeton and Eastburn, and James England and Charles Sunderland Overseers at Bingley, are certified as owning money to the treasurer. Audit report form from Thomas Nicklethwaite to say that he has audited the accounts for the Keighley Union for the half year ending 25 March 1851 and held on 11 August 1851, He examined the accounts of the town of Steeton with Eastburn and has to report to the board that Joseph Malton, Assistant Overseer at Steeton with Eastburn, did not send in a monthly statement because neither he nor the overseer understands them. He does not keep a collecting or deposit book. Paper Number: 34316/1851, 36254/1851 and 36386/1851. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding.
