- Folios 212-213. Letter from Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, concerning Samuel Smith, a pauper removed from Colchester [Essex] to Sibton under a suspended order. The overseer from Colchester demanded payment from the Sibton parish officers. The payment was made, but the Blything guardians refused a refund, questioning its legality and stating that the Sibton parish officers should have consulted the Blything Guardians before making payment. Paper Number: 3982/B/1839. Poor Law Union Number 432. Counties: Suffolk.
