- Folios 176-179. Letter from Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, enclosing books relating to the survey of Wrentham, together with Captain Dawson's [Robert Dawson, Assistant Tithe Commissioner] observations and the Surveyor's [John G Lenny] complaint that the Tithe Commission had not taken good care of his map; Tithe Commission map report form, from Dawson, dated 5 July 1839, referring to the Wrentham map and field book. He complained that there were insufficient lines and references to enable examination of the map; Report from Lenny, Surveyor, explaining his methods and stating that he will reference the Uggeshall and Frostenden maps in the manner required by the Tithe Commission; 'Quantity Survey' of Wrentham, signed by Dawson on 6 June 1839 and revised by Lenny. Annotated letter from Dawson, to the Poor Law Commission, dated 1 August 1839, forwarding the revised survey of Wrentham. Paper Number: 5248/A/1839 and 6231/B/1839. Poor Law Union Number 432. Counties: Suffolk.
