Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to John Forster, Secretary to the Commission in Lunacy, enclosing a copy of a letter from the Guardians of the Southampton Incorporation [not included] received by the board, which referred to a letter from the Commission in Lunacy dated 5 July 1856. This included a copy of a report made by Mr Wilkes and Mr Lutwidge, Commissioners in Lunacy, concerning a visit to Southampton Incorporation workhouse on 28 June 1856. Paper Number: 31908/1856. Poor Law Union Number 407. Counties: Hampshire.
