General Record' for the month of January 1866 (continued) Thomas Kissick, aged 20, Ordinary Seaman; Charles Jefford, aged 20, Ordinary Seaman; George Cameron, aged 22, Ordinary Seaman, died at 5am after 22 hours illness. 2 January 1865, attacked with fever; Boswell, Moon, Coles, Johns. 3 January 1865, attacked with fever, Pharoah, Barton, Young. Donovan died. 4 January 1865, Albert Webster, William Johns, Joseph Guernsey, all died. 5 January 1865, Bowman attacked with fever. John Hardy and Charles Jefford, died. [6] January 1865, George Bier, Daniel Gillard, John Tees, Thomas Barnett, [all died]. 7 January 1865, Samuel Riley, John Turner, Henry Maslin, James Elliott, all died. 8 January 1865, William Pears, Charles Cook, Thomas Pharoah, all died. 10 January 1865, Alfred Efford, David Boswell, died. [11] January 1865, George Peel died. Epps attacked with fever. 17 January 1865, Herbert Epps, Captain's Servant, died in hospital at Ascension Island. 21 January 1865, Robinson, fractured femur, sent to hospital. 29 January 1865, Samuel Moon, aged 21, Ordinary Seaman; disease or hurt, mania. Sent on board HMS Marauder for passage home.
