Folio 30: case no 646, James Marks, aged 19, Boy 1st Class of HMS Pique; taken ill at Petropanlowski [Petropavlovsk]; sick or hurt, vulnus, was sent from HMS Pique to assist in fighting the gun on board this ship, was struck by a cannon ball and splinters whilst at quarter on the upper deck, the left thigh was torn off above knee, the lower part of femur shattered ; put on sick list 4 September 1854, died 4 September 1854 ay 5 pm.
Folios 30-31: case no 647, James Downs, aged 19, Ordinary Seaman of HMS Pique; taken ill at Petropanlowski [Petropavlovsk]; sick or hurt, vulnus, was sent from HMS Pique, was struck by the same cannon ball that wounded J Marks, whilst at his quarter on the upper deck, the left thigh was torn off an inch above condyle, the shatered leg hanging by integuments and lacerated muscular fibres of posterior part of the thigh ; put on sick list 4 September 1854, died 5 September 1854 ay 4 pm.
Folio 31: case no 650, Mr Edward H Howard, aged 22, Lieutenant Royal Navy; taken ill at Petropanlowski [Petropavlovsk]; sick or hurt, vulnus, whilst on shore at the attacked of the fort, was wounded by a musket ball, which entered a little above outer condyle of left humerus and lodged, causing comminuted fracture of bone; put on sick list 4 September 1854, still on sick list 1 October 1854 pension certificate granted. Folio 31: case no 651, Mr George Palmer, aged 25, Lieutenant; taken ill at Petropanlowski [Petropavlovsk]; sick or hurt, vulnus, wounded on shore by a musket ball entered above spine of scapular; put on sick list 4 September 1854, still on sick list 1 October 1854.
Folios 31-32: case no 652, Samuel Lockett, aged 35, Quarter Master; taken ill at Petropanlowski [Petropavlovsk]; sick or hurt, vulnus, whilst in the boat and under fire from the Russians at Petropanlowski, was struck by musket ball, which fractured second pahlanx of middle finger of right hand; put on sick list 4 September 1854, still on sick list 1 October 1854 pension certificate granted.
