Folio 26: Case no. 30, Joseph Parker, aged 51, Barber; taken ill in at Devonport; disease or hurt, rheumatism, Put on sick list, 13 January 1856, sent 22 January 1856 to Hospital at Plymouth.

Folio 26: Case no. 31, James Curtis, aged 23, Sick Berth attendant; taken ill in at Devonport; disease or hurt, rheumatism, Put on sick list, 15 January 1856, sent 22 January 1856 to Hospital at Plymouth.

Number on the ship's books 86; John Hooper, aged 35, Able Seaman; pension certificate granted on 10 August 1855, nature of hurt, wounded on board HMS London by sustaining a severe contusion of the upper & back part of left hip by a shot (which injury was followed by sloughing of considerable portion of soft parts resulting in lameness and inability to go aloft) on 17 October 1854.

Folios 33-36: Surgeon's general remarks. 2 officers and 150 men and boys were discharged to 'Vulcan' for passage to the 'Albion' [folios 33-34]; passing remarks of cases of continued fever, intermittent fever, delirium tremens, cephalalgia, bronchitis, pneumonia, palpitation, dysentery, diarrhoea, rheumatism, ulcers and scurvy [folios 34-36].
