Folio 9: Case no. 1, William Cramer, aged 22, Bandsman; taken ill off Sevastopol; disease or hurt, asphyxia (drowning), was drowned alongside of the ship at anchor about 7 am, when the hands were piped to bathe, and the body was not recovered, Died 7 July 1855.
Folio 9: Case no. 2, George Miles, aged 33, Ordinary Seaman; disease or hurt, wound and hernia, was put on the list with an abraded wound at the centre of the right leg received while coaling at Constantinople, Put on sick list, 5 April 1855, invalided 9 July 1855 for inguinal hernia on the right side.

Folio 12: Case no. 5, James McKenna, aged 40, Able Seaman; taken ill off Sevastopol; disease or hurt, scurvy, the Surgeon's stated that when he joined this ship on 23 June he found that this man had a large ecchymose swelling in the right ham and upper half of the same calf, Put on sick list, 22 June 1855, discharged 29 July 1855 to duty.
