Folio 311. Letter from Sir John Walsham [Assistant Poor Law Commissioner] to the Poor Law Commission. It refers to papers 263/A/1840, 265/A/1840, 378/A/1840 and 1307/A/1840, all concerning the charge of misconduct against Daniel Morrison, Master of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Workhouse. He returns these and annexes the answer which he suggests they send to the Berwick-upon-Tweed board of guardians in reply to their letter of 5 February 1840. Paper Number: 1548/A/1840.
