- Folios 124-125. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, enclosing a copy of a resolution paper passed by the guardians 24 January 1837. The resolution regards a slight alteration to the dietary table for the workhouse. The guardians think that the half a pound of potatoes allowed on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays is not enough and wish to increase the allowance to three quarters of a pound. Annotation: Mr Weale [Robert Weale, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner] objects to the increase. Paper Number: 700/C/1837. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
