- Folios 106-108. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, requesting advice regarding the payment by the churchwardens and overseers of weekly sums to pensioners, as authorised by Act 59 Geo III c 12 s 30. Saunders wishes to know whether this is now the duty of the new relieving officers for the Kidderminster Poor Law Union. He says there is a great number of pensioners in Kidderminster 'who for some years have received advances' from the poor rates. [Folios 106-107 are year guards etc.] Paper Number: 124/C/1837. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
