Folio 10: case no 59, Edward Hartfall, aged 30, Boatswain’s Mate; sick or hurt, phlegmon of right hand; put on sick list 1 May 1841, discharged 5 May 1841 to duty. Folio 10: case no 60, John Woodley, aged 22, Able Seaman; sick or hurt, ophthalmia – slight conjunctiva; put on sick list 1 May 1841, discharged 3 May 1841 to duty.

Folio 11: case no 61, George Fisher, aged 18, Drummer Marine; taken ill at St Peters; sick or hurt, otitis, ulcus timpani, suffered from inflammation & ulceration of the internal ear; put on sick list 1 May 1841, discharged 10 June 1841 to duty. Folio 11: case no 62, William Harvey, aged 26, Captain Main Top; taken ill at St Peters; sick or hurt, vulnus – puncture of first joint of right thumb by a sail needle; put on sick list 1 May 1841, discharged 1 June 1841 to duty. Folio 11: case no 63, William Gallant, aged 29, Captain of the Hold; taken ill at St Peters; sick or hurt, peritonitis, had catarrh & cough for some days without complaining…he has had uneasiness in the loins for some days which now amounts to pain on coughing or violent exertion. He had several slight attacks of intermittent within the last three months; there was fever at night…; put on sick list 1 May 1841, sent 25 May 1841 to Military Hospital at St John’s Newfoundland, died 15 July 1841 with general dropsy – effusion in abdomen, lymphy & purulent.

Folios 13-14: case no 85, Benjamin Mantle, aged 25, Able Seaman (fidler); taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, phrenitis; put on sick list 25 May 1841, discharged 14 June 1841 to duty, he had this complaint several times & was discharged first from the Tribune in 1838; the liability to its returns renders him unfit for the service and an object for invaliding.

Folio 14: case no 88, John Wigham, aged 37, Able Seaman; sick or hurt, vulnus of back by punishment; put on sick list 27 May 1841, discharged 31 May 1841 to duty. Folio 14: May 1841, the ship left St Peters Newfoundland on 6 May and reached Burgeo on 7 May, the ship stayed until 15 May then sailed to Grand Bank and arrived there on 17 May. from 19 May the ship made a passage and reached Little St Lawrence on 30 May. Medicines supplied to the sick inhabitants of the small outposts - represented their distress in that respect to the Captain, who gave ordered to the above effect. Folio 14: case no 91, Edward Lomax, aged 20, Ordinary Seaman; taken ill at St Lawrence; sick or hurt, rheumatismus affection in the right ankle & knee joint; put on sick list 2 June 1841, discharged 26 June 1841 to duty. Folio 14: case no 92, James Mitchell, aged 27, Able Seaman; sick or hurt, cynanche – suppuration of left tonsil; put on sick list 2 June 1841, discharged 8 June 1841 to duty.
