Folio 11: case no 61, Stephen May, aged 17, Boy; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, contusion of left elbow and sacrum by a fall from the Mizen Top; put on sick list 9 June 1840, discharged 13 July 1840 to duty. Folio 11: case no 62, John Lighton, aged 42, Marine; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, cystitis, produced by using the steel bougie and by derangement of bowels (see case no 49); put on sick list 12 June 1840, discharged 20 June 1840 to duty. Folio 11: case no 63, Hyde Browne, aged 27, Able Seaman; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, phlegmon on the notes; put on sick list 14 June 1840, discharged 17 June 1840 to duty. Folio 11: case no 64, Lewis Warren, aged 18, Clerk; taken ill at Bermuda; sick or hurt, hepatitis; put on sick list 15 June 1840, discharged 23 June 1840 to duty. Stated that he could get no useful vaccine maker in Bermuda nor in Barbados.
