Folio 245. Letter from R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, stating that he has learned from the overseers of St Just [St Just in Roseland] that the expenses arising from the sale of their workhouse had already been deducted. The sum of £45 is the net proceeds, which will go towards liquidating the debt to Mr Tweedy and Company, Bankers, Falmouth. Annotated: Mr Lumley [William Golden Lumley, Assistant Secretary to the Poor Law Commission]. Paper Number: 11214/A/1841. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
