Folios 146-147. Letter from William Clyma, Overseer, St Mary's Parish, Truro, to the Poor Law Commission, replying to their enquiry of 19 May 1841, concerning the emigration of a pauper from his parish, for whom an order was made on 19 August 1840 for £20. He informs them that the person concerned did not emigrate and still lives in the parish. Annotated: Mr Lumley [William Golden Lumley, Assistant Secretary to the Poor Law Commission. Put by C R H [C R Howell, Clerk to the Poor Law Commission]. [Folio 146 is marked medical officers salaries 1 or 2 guards.] Paper Number: 5588/A/1841. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
