Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to C Carlyon [Clement W Carlyon MD Magistrate] Truro, thanking him for his letter of 16 December 1840 and informing him they are sure the board of guardians's proposed contracts will be approved. The Commission will require copies of the contracts, but there must be no delay in beginning [smallpox] vaccination. Paper Number: 1139/V/1840. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
