Folio 449. Order of the House of Commons that there be laid before the House copies of all orders which have been issued by the Poor Law Commission to the board of guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union since the formation of the same in 1838 until 13 April 1842. Also all reports of proceedings of the board and complaints thereon, which have been made by Alfred Power and Charles Mott, the Assistant Poor Law Commissioners, to the Poor Law Commission. Also, in what respect the said board of guardians has acted contrary to the directions of the central board. Also, the number of times that Power and Mott have visited the said board and the poorhouses of Keighley and Bingley and the dates thereof, and the reports they have made on the said poorhouses, and of the number of inmates within the poorhouses at both the formation of the Union and on 1 June 1842.
