Folios 435-436. Letter from John Nicholl [John Iltyd Nicholl, MP for Cardiff, Glamorganshire], House of Commons, to Edwin Chadwick [Secretary to the Poor Law Commission], asking that the letters enclosed [not included] should be forwarded without delay to Charles Mott and John Walsham [Assistant Poor Law Commissioners]. They are requested to attend before a Committee of the House of Commons which is enquiring into the allegations contained in their reports on the state of the Keighley Poor Law Union. Annotated: ordered to be dispatched. Sent to Sir John Walsham, Bury St. Edmunds [Suffolk], and Charles Mott, Manchester [Lancashire], 1 July 1842, by John Bright Jr [Extra Messenger, Poor Law Commission]. Paper Number: 8884/B/1842. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding.
