Folio 392. Order for the House of Commons. That there be laid before this House a copy of the report by Mr Mott [Charles Mott, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner] of the proceedings of the board of guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union, and of the magistrates' interference therewith. Signed [J H Ley]. Annotated: 22 June 1842 by J Jones [Clerk, 1st Class, Poor Law Commission] stating that he had been told the previous evening by Mr Collot [Thomas Collot, Office Keeper, Poor Law Commission] that Sir James Graham [Home Secretary] had sent for Mr Mott's report on the Keighley Poor Law Union and thinking he might want to quote from it in the debate he took the report to the House and asked the door keeper to give it to Sir James Graham, having ascertained that neither of the Commissioners was in the House. Paper Number: 8367/B/1842. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding.
