Folios 467-469. Letter from William Alcock Dockrall, Liverpool. He refers to his previous letter in which he accused Dr Bradley of cruel conduct to dying patients in the Liverpool Workhouse. Dockrall is now anxious to serve his fellow men and claims to be able to cure epilepsy sufferers. He includes a copy of a commendation written by inhabitants of the city of York, for his work for 'hundreds and even thousands' of sufferers. He humbly begs for a position in which he could help such people, and offers to do the work 'gratuitously, even working with sick patients in the lunatic Asylum. Annotated: acknowledge and send a copy of the letter addressed to him by the Board on 29 October 1852,in reply to his previous letter, which was returned by the post office, address unknown. State that the Board have no power to appoint him to such apposition as he applies for in his present letter. Paper Number: [43876/1852].
