- Folios 453-454. Letter from Charles Hart, Clerk to the Select Vestry of Liverpool, to H B Farnall, Poor Law Inspector, Kettlethorpe Hall, near Wakefield, [Yorkshire West Riding], asking for the return of the bill impounded during the investigation into the vaccination accounts. The bills were certified by Mr Ollis. Hart does not have authenticated copies of the bills or the verification, so he cannot pay the vaccinators 'the Amounts which are honestly their due'. He asks for them to be returned so that the Medical Relief Committee can bring the 'unpleasant business' to a final close. Note from Farnall to Lord Courtney, [Secretary to the Poor Law Board] stating that the accounts are attached to his report to the Poor Law Board. Annotated: [Mr Lake] 'Have you the bills? If so please [have] them returned'. Paper Number: 41420/1852.
