- Folio 406. Draft letter from Poor Law Board to J E Donlevy, Liverpool. It refers him to their letter of 9 October 1852, relating to the proposal to terminate his appointment as medical officer. The Board wish to inform him that in view of the 'Minutes of your appointment' and under the 'terms on which you were elected,' they consider the Liverpool Select Vestry are entitled to take this course independently, without the consent of the Board being previously obtained. Paper Number: 38001/1852.
