- Folios 165-167. Letter from Charles Hart, Clerk to the Liverpool Select Vestry, to the Poor Law Board. He encloses for approval the appointment form for Henry William Spring Woods as Assistant Schoolmaster. The form shows Woods had been a scripture reader and was educated at the Blue Coat School, Liverpool, where had had also taught. The salary to be £10 per annum. This is a new appointment due to the increased numbers of children in the school. Annotated: appointed on trial for six months. Paper Number: 16915/1852.
