Folios 46-47: case no 3, James Russell, aged 20,private 4th Regiment; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, hernia humoralis; put on sick list 22 May 1832, discharged 30 May 1832 to duty, [on] June the 5th presented himself again with a painful enlargement of the same testicle almost three times its natural size caused by his master's dog jumping on him three days ago, discharged 18 June 1832 to duty.
Folios 47-48: case no 4, Samuel Glen, aged 22, private 4th Regiment; taken ill at Cove of Cork; sick or hurt, accident, had been on shore on leave of absence prior to embarkation at which time he got drunk and received several severe falls, with the left side of his face contused and lacerated there is considerable tumefaction and inflammation of the left superior palpebra, eye closed with discharge of matter; put on sick list 29 April 1832, discharged 10 May 1832 to duty.
Folio 48: case no 5, Corporal McQueen, aged 21, Corporal 4th Regiment; sick or hurt, diarrhoea; put on sick list 6 April 1832, discharged 8 April 1832 to duty.
Folios 49-51: case no 6, John Haurigan, prisoner; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, epilepsy, of stout stature and muscular appearance remarkably short thick neck, was sudden attacked with epilepsy, his face had a reddish black appearance froth issuing from the mouth and scarce any pulse perceptible; put on sick list 12 May 1832, he was kept in the hospital as an assistant by which means I had him constantly under my eyes his diet was particularly attended to giving what was light nutritive and easy of digestion, he has not had any attack up to the present time the 14th of July.

Folio 56: case no 13, George Cott, aged 14, boy; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, headache; put on sick list 14 June 1832, discharged 21 June 1832.
Folios 57-59: case no 14, Anthony Berry, aged 24, prisoner; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, ascites, he was of a low size, thin delicate and unhealthy appearance, complaining of pain in his bowel with constant inclination to stool, on examining found the abdomen distended with an adematous enlargement of the lower extremities, pitting on pressure, respiration difficult, hard dry cough, on examining his back with his leg drawn up there is an evident sense of fluctuation in the abdomen, on 22nd [June] no improvement retrogrades refuses wine and everything but tea, at 10 pm. could not be got to take medicine, passed several involuntary stools; put on sick list 29 May 1832, died 24 June 1832, [autopsy report on folio 59].
Folios 59-60: case no 15, Michael Ward, prisoner; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, pain in the chest; put on sick list 21 June 1832, discharged 26 June 1832 cured.
Folios 60-63: case no 16, Malachy Foley, aged 15, boy; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, phthisis, he was five feet five inches high, grey eyes, light hair and fresh complexion of remarkable thin and delicate appearance native of Co. Clare, suffered from loss of appetite and constant cough before came on board, he was brought by one of his mess mate can give no statement of his feelings as he does not speak English, but from the hospital man I found that he has been long time subject to an affection of the chest says there is “decay in his family”,…Biggest pain was in his left side the blister was applied there; put on sick list 24 June 1832, died 30 June 1832 at 3 pm., [postmortem reported on folio 63].
