Folio 16: 12 March 1823; Hugh Ryon, considerably better. William Griffin, enlargement gradually reducing, in a much debilitated state. M Cassey, pneumonia, respiration particularly difficult.
Folio 16: 13 March 1823; Hugh Ryon, in a convalescent state. William Griffin, much the same as yesterday. M Cassey, breathing very oppresive.

Folio 18: 27 March 1823; Informed that Mr Williams, second mate, had been detected in an improper situation with the wife of Mr Styles. This woman under a cloak of sickness was admitted to the Bays prison. I frequently pointed out to this young man of his improper conduct.
Folio 18: 30 March 1823; violent temper of the master noted again.
Folios 18-20: 31 March 1823-3 April 1823; the supply of spirits for the guard has all been consumed. Having reason to suppose that a sufficient quantity for six months was on board when we sailed from Cove of Cork, the master (S.Moore) was asked by the surgeon to provide details of the expenditure (included) of rum received and expended on board the Brampton.
Folio 20: 5 April 1823; James Murray, fell on the edge of a bucket and fractured two ribs.
Folio 21: 11 April 1823; the issuing of brooms for the cleanliness of the prisons.
Folio 22: 28 April 1823; landed the prisoners per order of His Excellency Sir Thomas Brisbane. The prisoners have been on board seven months and many were in a weak and debilitated state when I embarked, and with the exception of three old men are now all in perfect good health.
Folio 23: Account of beef, pork, flour and suet provisions opened between 30 July 1822 to 19 April 1823.
