- Folios 342-343. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, forwarding a form signed by the late guardian for Upper Arley [Staffordshire], stating his intention not to act as guardian for the present year. Declaration, dated 18 May 1848, from John Potter of Upper Arley [Staffordshire], to the Kidderminster guardians stating that he was elected as guardian for Upper Arley in April 1847. He does not intend to act as guardian for the present year. Annotation: issue order for a fresh election of a Guardian for Upper Arley. Election of Guardian 'Default' dated 6 June 1848 and sent 7 June 1848. Twelve copies. Paper Number: 14113/1848. See also Paper Number: 15561/1848. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
