- Folio 341. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, acknowledging a letter dated 18 May 1848 forwarding the plan [not included] for proposed alterations to Kidderminster Poor Law Union Workhouse approved by the Poor Law Commission on 4 October 1847. This plan did not include additions meeting the requirements of the Lunacy Commission referred to in the guardians' communication of 9 May 1848. Also forwarded was the related form of consent. The Board states that: they return the plan for alteration as suggested in their letter of 12 May 1848. After alteration, the plan should be returned to the office for inspection. Paper Number: 14835/1848. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
