- Folio 281. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, acknowledging a letter dated 13 April 1848 that enclosed copies of minutes of the guardians relating to the appointment of a schoolmistress of the Union Workhouse. In the reply to the enquiry about the appointment of Miss Underwood the Board states that It was not necessary to rescind the resolution appointing Miss Rennick as her appointment was for a limited time so was never valid. Also They request particulars of the schoolmistress's appointment, to be reported in the accompanying form. Paper Number: 10808/1848. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
