- Folio 262. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union acknowledging a letter dated 29 March 1848, which forwarded copies of 4 nomination papers marked A,B,C and D. The Board states that th nominations A,C and D are not invalidated by the omission of the parish in the description of the residence. Also that Mr Allen [John Allen] is not disenfranchised by the absence of a register of owners if he has sent in a statement of ownership. Nomination B is not invalidated by the use of initials rather than Christian names. Minor verbal inaccuracies do not invalidate the nominations. Paper Number: 9138/1848. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
