Folio 5: case no 39, Henry Goring, aged 16, Boy 2nd Class; sick or hurt, cynanche, in consequence of the recent case of scarlatina in the ship a general examination of the boys took place, and this boy was found to be suffering from a sore throat, the tonsils being enlarged and inflamed, he was sent out of the ship as a suspicious case; put on sick list, 5 March 1862, sent 5 March 1862 to Plymouth Hospital.
