Grounds for clemency: the prisoner suffered a period of imprisonment by the American army having lost his hearing at the Battle of Fort Erie, aged 51 he has little hope of supporting 2 dependant children. Initial sentence: death commuted to transportation for life. On board the Dromedary hulk at Bermuda. Annotated: nil. FP5
