Folio 367. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to John Kirkland, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southwell Union regarding the calling of a parochial meeting. The Board state that it is contrary to their practice to advise upon questions submitted to them in a hypothetical form. They cannot undertake to express an opinion upon the subject of Mr Kirkland's communication.
