Folio 363. Letter from John Kirkland, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southwell to the Local Government Board. He states that he omitted to inform the Board that Mr Blundell was also appointed as Vaccination Officer of the South District at the same time that he was elected as Relieving Officer.
The amount of renuneration the Guardians agreed to allow Mr Blundell was at the rate of sixpence for each successful vaccination, being the same that had been allowed for Mr Shacklock, the previous officer who resigned on being appointed as Workhouse Master.
He will be glad to receive the Board's approval of the above.
