Folio 332. Letter to the Local Government Board from George Jackson, Assistant Overseer, North Muskham, relating to his books seen by the Auditor on 7 December.
He states that he was not appointed Assistant Overseer until 6 June, and then without books and forms and not knowing much about the duties of an Assistant Overseer, as this being his first appointment.
He apologises and sends his thanks for the instructions sent to him by the Board.
Annotated to inform the Overseer of this correspondence.
