Folio 331. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to John Kirkland, Clerk to the Rural Sanitary Authority of the Southwell Union regarding his request for sanction to the continuance of the appointment of Mr Henry Dixon as Inspector of Nuisances for the Rural Sanitary District of the Southwell Union at a reduced salary of £52 per annum.
Before considering this proposal further, the Board would like to see his Diary and any other Books kept by Mr Dixon as Inspector of Nuisances during the past year.
