Description

1 individual petition (prisoner) on behalf of Mary Wilson convicted at the Old Bailey May Sessions 1828 of larceny (stealing a tablecloth) property of Mr Sparrow. Grounds for clemency: prisoner accepts verdict but has had a stroke while in prison and right side is paralysed, has 5 children - daughter would look after her if she were released. Initial sentence: 7 years' transportation. Annotated: unfit to undergo voyage to New South Wales; nil. KO22
