1 individual petition (Hannah Murnin, prisoner's aunt) on behalf of John Murnin convicted at Liverpool Sessions April 1829 of embezzlement of property belonging to Mr R F Breed. Grounds for clemency: in hospital in Lancaster Castle with an incurable disease, relies on aunt for support for self and wife, aunt has 10 to provide for as well, asks for him to be removed to Liverpool gaol so she could look after him better. Initial sentence; 2 years' imprisonment. Annotated: nil. KO15
