A letter from Bucknall Estcourt and W M Estcourt, visiting magistrates, requesting William Little tried at Devizes at Michaelmas Sessions 1829 for a felony, be removed to the lunatic asylum. There is also a letter from two surgeons certifying that Little is of unsound mind and a list of criminal lunatics at Devizes gaol on 11 November 1829, listing Little only. Annotated: warrant prepared for removal to the lunatic asylum at Lavington Devizes 12 November 1829. KO13
