Description

1 individual petition (prisoner) and 1 collective petition (7 people from Manchester Square area of London) on behalf of George Larkin [George Larkhen] convicted at the Old Bailey September Sessions 1829 of stealing lead value £2 12s. Grounds for clemency: first offence, aged mother (age 52) a widow dependent on him as two brothers and father died recently, good character. Initial sentence: 7 years' transportation. Gaoler's report: not known before. Annotated: to be sent to penitentiary. KO12
