- Folio 197. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to W E Goodacre, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union. Transmitting an extract of a report received from the district auditor, after the audit of the accounts of Mansfield Union for the half year ended at Lady Day last. Refereeing to the statement attention is drawn to Articles 80 & 202, numbers 8& 9 of Consolidated General Orders prescribing the course to take as regards to the transmission of accounts at the end of each quarter of relief administered to non settled poor. It also concerns the regulation of payment of such accounts. An explanation is requested with regards to the auditor's report. Paper Number: 24952/1854. See also 26973/1854.
