- Folio 196. Extract of a report of 21 December 1854, from William Power, District Auditor, after the last audit, in reference to the books of Mr William E Goodacre, Clerk to the guardians of Mansfield Union. The non settled balance consists partly; of two quarters relief, up to Lady Day September last to paupers belonging to the following Unions. 1. Chesterfield. 2. Basford. 3. Worksop. 4. Barrow upon Soar. Further of three quarters relief up to Lady Day last to paupers belonging to the Newark Union. Annotated: write to the clerk, for explanation referring to Articles 80 & 202, numbers 8& 9 of Consolidated General Orders. Paper Number: 24952/1854. Poor Law Union Number 337. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
