Description

Folio 1: Antonio Circle, aged 34, boatswain's mate; sick or hurt, vulnus, coming down the stairs of the [?] house with a small bottle containing gold dust concealed in his waistcoat, his foot slipped about the middle of the stair, he fell on his head and received several severe contusions and a deep [?] wound on the left side of the thorax which extended from the clavicle to the seventh rib [?] through the pectoral and serrate muscles laying the ribs bear through its whole course ; put on sick list, 28 February 1814, English harbour, Antigua. Discharged 20 March 1814 cured. Folio 1: Charles Johnston, aged 27, sailmaker's mate; sick or hurt, febris synocha; put on sick list, 1 March 1814. Discharged 1 March 1814 to Antigua hospital.
