Folios 179-180. Letter from Messrs Fector and Minet of Dover [Kent] reporting that the Queen Charlotte had sailed that morning and would await orders at Falmouth [Cornwall], and asking for letters to be issued by the Admiralty and Treasury to Captain Ratcliff enabling him to requisition the assistance of His Majesty's ships. A postscript states that the king of France had been condemned to death on the 18th January and that his attempt to appeal to the people had been rejected.
