Description

Folios 161-162. Letter from P Newport of the Custom House, Dover [Kent], reporting the results of his consultation with Mr Farley of Folkestone regarding fast sailing boats at that port, and reassuring Evan Nepean [under-secretary] that he would detain any craft there or at Dover that might be purchased by Frenchmen.
