Letter from Captain [Henry Stanhope] at Bath [Somerset] enclosing a letter from the master of a sloop involved in the Hickey affair and asking Evan Nepean [under-secretary] to bring his attachment to Government to the notice of the earl of Chatham [first lord of the Admiralty]. Enclosed is a letter of 8 December 1792 to Stanhope from George Stonehewer of the sloop Industry asking what had become of [Hickey] and whether he was in custody.
