Folios 57-58. Letter from J Hutchinson of Hatfield [Hertfordshire] asking for the arms for the marquis des Essars to be delivered to Mr Bridges in Red Lion Square [Holborn]. Hutchinson quotes from a letter [in French] from an Amiens merchant, praising the indignation of the British parliament at affairs in France, and reports the assertion of a correspondent from Düsseldorf that the Austrian Netherlands could easily be turned against France.
