Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of stealing lead affixed to building, after two previous convictions under the juvenile offenders act at the Quarter Sessions at Stafford, Staffordshire 04 January 1858.
Then aged 16 years and by trade a forge boy.
Sentence: 4 years penal servitude.
Licence granted 30 March 1861, for early release from Parkhurst prison.
