Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of stealing a coat the property of Issac Dobson with previous conviction of felony at the Quarter Sessions at Leeds, Yorkshire 31 December 1857.
Then aged 15 years and by trade a factory hand.
Sentence: 4 years penal servitude.
Licence granted 30 March 1861, for early release from Parkhurst prison.
