- Folios 329-331. Letter from James L Barker, Clerk to the Guardians of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, asking them to approve the appointment of John Forrest of Chirton as Collector of Rates for Chirton and also Assistant Overseer for Chirton. An extract from the minutes of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, dated 9 May 1839, to this effect is enclosed. Annotated: that the appointment be made. Paper number: 3324/B/1839. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
