- Folios 320-322. Rough draft letter from the Poor Commission to Sir John Walsham, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner, acknowledging his letter of 6 March 1839 and the accounts of Cowpen township. It gives their opinion on the situation at Cowpen concerning the accounts of Barker and Fenwick, the rates remaining to be collected, the arrears and the old valuation. [Folio 322 is a small paper tag.] Paper number: 1752/B/1839. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
